44 - Name someone you can’t live without.
My younger cousin Jonnie. She’s become my little sister, and I’m very invested in her life now.
24 - Have you ever cheated on your partner?
Proud to say, never.
15 - When was the last time you cried? Why?
Probably a couple weeks ago when I was super stressed about all the work I had to do, so I called my boyfriend and just cried at him over the phone.
8 - What do you feel right now?
I feel high off lack of sleep from being up editing all night and happy that most of my work for the week is now over.
16 - Are you happy?
I am going on no sleep, had a rough rehearsal day and edited an entire news package. But you know what? Yes, I’m really fucking happy. Someone loves me, and I don’t suck at my major.
23 - What is your biggest regret?
Not waiting to make friends during my orientation week of college. I rushed into way too many friendships and none of them really lasted.
45 - Describe your dream date.
Honestly, I’m a really big fan of the traditional stuff. I’d love to get dinner at a cutesy local cafe, see something at the Art Theater downtown or a live show and then walk around in the park afterwards. I’m planning on doing all of those things when my boyfriend is here in a couple weeks.
46 - Describe your dream wedding.
I like those cute gazebos out in the middle of the woods. Has to be woods or an open field too with shade because shit gets hot extremely quickly. I’ve started imagining my dream dress as a super fluffy looking thing a la Giselle from Enchanted but not quite as poofy or heavy. I want pedals to be attached to the material, so I look like some sort of ethereal fairy. Simplistic outdoor chairs and such for the ceremony. Have the reception in a nice, huge barn in the forest too. I don’t know. I’m getting there.
73 - Have you ever sacrificed something important to you for someone you love?
Yes, several times.
After filming over the entire weekend and editing an entire news package for over six hours, I feel really happy with the end product.
It gave me hell, but it’s one of those times where I’m proud to be in broadcasting.
Solo performance piece that I came up with for my Intro to Social Issues Theatre class.
You are tired,
And so am I.
Tired of things that break, and—
So am I.
Come with me, then,
And we’ll leave it far and far away—
(Only you and I, understand!)
